- Ep 1 — Why Does SciFi Matter? (11:26–12:01): Rob notes that whole subgenres now grow up around cautionary tales, from climate fiction to nuclear-age stories, and that each era of sci-fi produces its own warnings.
- Ep 3 — Science Fiction isn’t about the future (09:47–11:44): Rob says it's hard to live through a Utah summer like this one and not feel something is wrong; climate fiction offers cautionary tales so we can change course. His favorite is The Water Knife.
